Flower Care Guide

Thank you for your LynnFlora order. With a little care, your flowers will stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible.

Upon Arrival:
— Unwrap your flowers as soon as they arrive.
— Trim about 1 inch off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle using clean scissors or a sharp knife.
— Place immediately in a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water.
— Remove any leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacteria growth.

Daily Care:
— Change the water every 1–2 days.
— Re-trim stems slightly each time you change the water.
— Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heat vents, and ripening fruit (ethylene gas shortens flower life).
— Store in a cool room — flowers last longest between 65–72°F (18–22°C).

For Arrangements in a Vase:
— Top up water daily as flowers drink quickly.
— Keep the vase clean to prevent bacterial buildup.
— Mist delicate blooms lightly with water to keep petals fresh.

For Wrapped Bouquets:
— Place in water as soon as possible after receiving.
— Do not leave wrapped flowers out of water for more than 1–2 hours.

Expected Vase Life:
— Roses & ranunculus: 5–7 days
— Garden roses: 4–6 days
— Peonies: 4–5 days
— Tulips: 4–6 days
— Eucalyptus & greenery: 10–14 days
— Mixed arrangements: 5–7 days

Tips to Extend Freshness:
— Use the flower food packet included with your order.
— Avoid placing flowers near air conditioning vents or open windows in winter.
— If flowers start to wilt, re-cut stems and place in warm water for 1 hour to revive them.
